psychiatrypicture The renowned psychoanalyst, Otto Matik, is hosting a dinner lecture and has invited one of his great success stories, Edie Puss, as an example of his work. His claims and theories remain controversial, and several detractors of his work have also arrived. Foremost among these is his former pupil, Gustav Stalt, who posits that analysis requires consideration of the whole.
As the promised demonstration of Otto's techniques is about to take place, tempers flare and the accusations fly. Someone will be sitting on the couch for a considerable time.
This story was originally written for a psychiatrist's party, but in depth knowledge of the subject is not required.
