Touring theatre company, Pintsize Productions, have just begun rehearsals for a forthcoming tour of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. A mix up with the booking process, however, has meant that the company is contractually obliged to perform at a venue a month earlier than anticipated.
The pressures of performing unrehearsed, along with the acrimonius departure of one of the company's leading lights leads to increased tension within the group. Still, the show must go on - even if the leading lady has locked herself in her dressing room, the leading man seems somewhat the worse for drink and the director doesn't have a clue. Will Shakespeare's comedy end in tragedy?
