The COVID-19 lockdown has given me some time to spruce up the old website to make it more accesible for mobile devices. It’s been a while since I have delved into the nuts and bolts of HTML, PHP, Javascript and MySQL, and being somewhat rusty has lead to me having to reinstall WordPress, which in turn ended up deleting all the posts lovingly created over the last 10 years or so. This gives me the chance to write plenty of new content, starting with this entry and following up with some precious insights on how to produce murder mysteries – information gleaned over 15 years in the business. I might even delve into the history of detective fiction and recommend and review some of my favourite books and films that continue to inspire.
