Murder to Measure is based about 30 minutes away from Somerset's border with Wiltshire and many of our performers live considerably closer. Moonrakers, Salisbury plain and Stonehenge suggests many possibilities for murder mystery stories and the towns of Trowbridge, Bradford on Avon, Marlborough and Westbury frequently host our own brand of mayhem.
There are currently no public events scheduled in Wiltshire. This may change in the future, so if you are interested in arranging or attending an event here, please do get in touch via our Contact page of follow us on Facebook.
The following list shows some venues that we have used for either public or private murder mystery events in Wiltshire. This is only a partial list of possible venues; you are welcome to choose your own venue or let us find one for you and your party.
Old Manor Hotel in Bradford on Avon
is a Grade 2 listed Manor House situated on the outskirts of Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire. Private events can be hosted in the milking parlour or the permanent (heated) marquee, or for smaller parties, the drawing room provides a perfect venue for a night of mystery.
Cricklade House in Cricklade
stands in over 30 acres of peaceful grounds on the edge of the Cotswolds. Built at the turn of the last century, has been tastefully restored and carefully extended including a Victorian-style glass conservatory which runs the full length of the original building.
Bowood Hotel in Calne
Spa and Golf Resort is a luxury hotel near Calne in Wiltshire. Its spa boasts a glass fronted gymnasium, a crystal steam room, rock sauna, aromatherapy showers, a pool, jacuzzi and 4 treatment rooms, making it ideal for breaks where you would like to be pampered before a murderous dinner.
